DEPOSITS AND FULL PAYMENTS:
With our workshops you have the option of initially paying only the deposit to reserve your spot. If you choose this option, you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance 60 days prior to the start of the workshop. The balance will be due 45 days before commencement of the workshop. If you would like pay the remaining balance in installments, please let us know.
A deposit is your commitment to joining the workshop. These deposits don’t typically sit in an account, they are used to cover initial expenses for the workshop like airfare, hotel reservations, park permits/fees and guided tour deposits. Due to these expenses, deposits are non-refundable or subject to a partial cancellation fee.
Cancellations and Refunds Will Be Handled As Follows…
IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL, PLEASE CONTACT US TO HAVE YOUR PAYMENTS TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER WORKSHOP:
Within one calendar year. There is no fee for transferring to a different workshop.
MORE THAN 60 DAYS BEFORE WORKSHOP:
$400 cancellation fee unless we fill your spot. If we can fill your spot, the cancellation fee will be waived minus a $200 convenience fee.
60 to 45 DAYS BEFORE WORKSHOP:
$400 cancellation fee unless we fill your spot. If we can fill your spot, the cancellation fee will be waived minus a $250 cancellation fee.
LESS THAN 45 DAYS BEFORE WORKSHOP:
No refunds will be given and all payments will be forfeited. Full payment is required no later than 45 days prior to departure. If full payment is not received by this date you will be notified by email. If you do not respond within 3 business days, your spot will be forfeited and offered to participants on the waiting list.
If we are forced to cancel a workshop for any reason, your entire payment will be transferred to another workshop or you can have it refunded to you.
WHAT IT WOULD TAKE TO CANCEL A WORKSHOP:
We have never cancelled a workshop. We understand participants have made plans such as plane tickets, hotel reservations, rental cars and equipment, so canceling a workshop would be an incredible inconvenience (with or without travel insurance).
The only time we would cancel a workshop is if conditions are absolutely guaranteed to bring un-shootable conditions or an emergency that can’t be ignored. Think hurricane, supervolcano, etc. If this were to happen we will work with you to move your registration to a later date or issue a full refund.
We are not responsible for refunding any costs associated with travel, lodging, or incidental losses incurred in the event a workshop is cancelled by you or us. This is why we suggest purchasing travel insurance for any workshop or adventure.
If you have a personal emergency, please contact us immediately; we are willing to work with you to reschedule on a case-by-case basis.
Our workshops require a minimum number of students (30% of the maximum). In the event we don’t reach our minimum we will still try to host the workshop, however we do reserve the right to cancel. In this case you will be issued a full refund within 30 days of the cancellation.
